Ethereum is perhaps the Daddy of the platform coins which the likes of Tezos, Tron and Algo want to compete with. In the way that BTC is the daddy crypto this is the daddy alt coin and you’ll find it has very similar dynamics to Bitcoin in terms of the ups and downs but while ETH is an Altcoin so to speak it does have different price action to the rest of the market. So, always worth taking a look here if you only trade BTC and vice versa.
