Bitcoin always likes to gives us reminders of who rules the cryptocurrency roost. As we have discussed, Bitcoin is the king of the market! If Bitcoin moves up too quickly, or down too quickly, most coins will bleed against it. If BTC moves sideways, while maintaining a healthy distance between the price and the 20 week moving average, this gives altcoins a chance to shine. While BTC is near the 20 week MA, it is important to understand the risk of investing in altcoins, because any significant moves by Bitcoin will likely cause most altcoins to bleed against it (whether Bitcoin moves up or down).
